Reggie Dawson To Retire After 42 Years With Middleburg Bank
The Bank will host a day-long reception, open to the public, on Thursday March 15 from 9 – 4 p.m. in the Middleburg Financial Service Center to honor Mr. Dawson.
MIDDLEBURG, Va. – February 29, 2012 – Middleburg Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Middleburg Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: MBRG) announced today that long-time employee Reggie Dawson is retiring after 42 years with the Bank.
In celebration of Mr. Dawson’s many years of service, the Bank will host a day-long reception, open to the public, on Thursday March 15 from 9 – 4 p.m. in the Middleburg Financial Service Center, located at 111 West Washington Street in Middleburg, Virginia. Area residents and clients of Mr. Dawson are encouraged to attend to recognize Mr. Dawson’s many contributions to the community and the Bank.

Over the years, and having served three Bank presidents, Reggie has helped us grow from one location in Middleburg to an organization serving the financial needs of clients throughout Virginia. In his time here, Reggie has worn many hats – from teller to assistant cashier to branch manager to commercial lender. In each of his many roles, Reggie has remained focused on meeting the needs of his clients while always trying to deliver the optimal client experience. He has been a role model for many of us and he will surely be missed."
Mr. Dawson is active in the Middleburg community. He is a member of the Windy Hill Foundation, has been associated with Middleburg Christmas Committee for over 20 years, is a member of the Free Church Homecoming Committee and is a former member of Middleburg Volunteer Fire Department. He has been a member of Middleburg United Methodist Church since 1959.
