An Opinionated Fox
Hi folks... Mosby here! Gary was nice enough to let me write this month's column so that I could share a few thoughts with you.
Those of you who follow me on Facebook probably know that I am an opinionated fox. I have a point of view of many things and today I want to share two of them with you.
One of the great privileges we have here in America is the freedom to express our opinions through democratic elections. Next Tuesday marks one of the most important elections in a long time. Not only are Americans voting for President, but there are a number of important state and local elections as well. The outcome of these elections will affect our lives and the lives of our children. So if you don't go vote, you won't have a say in how things turn out.
I urge each and every one of you to get out and vote. (If foxes were allowed to vote, I promise you I'd be the first one in line on Election Day!) There is simply too much at stake to stay home.
Voice Your Opinion
All of us at Middleburg Bank work hard every day to give each of you a great banking experience and it's important to us that we know how we are doing. Fortunately, based on the many emails, letters and Facebook posts we get, it seems that you like the things we are doing for you.
As technology changes the way we communicate, many people (and a few foxes) are now using online review sites to tell their friends - and the world at large - what they think of the service they receive from different businesses. Online sites such as Yelp, Yahoo! Local and Google Places for Business provide valuable reviews based on real-life experiences.
Some of you have already posted your reviews of Middleburg Bank on these sites and I thank you for your positive comments. (To read some of these reviews, click here for Yelp and here for Yahoo! Local.) If you would like to let the world know what you think of the service we provide, you can use the same links to post your review. Of course, you can always post a comment on our Facebook page as well.
I hope everyone has a wonderful November and a bountiful Thanksgiving. And as Gary always says, if there is anything this fox - or anyone at Middleburg Bank - can do to make your banking experience with us even better, please let me know at Mosby@middleburgbank.com
