Supporting Our Community
As a community bank, we are active participants in the life of our communities. We know that when we work with local organizations to make our communities better places to live and work, everyone benefits.
That’s why this year, we are once again supporting the Cherry Blossom Walk, Fun Run and Pooch Prance for Breast Cancer. Organized by the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation, the Walk and Fun Run is a major fund-raiser in the fight against breast cancer.
While many worthwhile organizations are working to end breast cancer, Middleburg Bank chose to support the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation because the money they raise stays right here in our communities, helping support local breast cancer patients and their families. Since 2007 the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation has supported a number of worthy causes in the fight against breast cancer, including:
- Inova Loudoun Hospital
- FISH, Middleburg
- Loudoun Community Health Center, Leesburg
- Blue Ridge Hospice, Loudoun County
- Loudoun Voluntary Caregivers, Leesburg
- Casting for the Cure-Breast Cancer Program, Middleburg
- Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton
- IIIB’s Foundation
- George Washington University Mobile Digital Mammogram Van
- Loudoun Breast Health Network
- Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center
- Tiger Lily Foundation, Loudoun County
- Loudoun Breast Health Network, Leesburg
- Prince William Hospital, Manassas and Gainesville
- Lake Manassas Cancer Center
This year’s Cherry Blossom Walk, Fun Run and Pooch Prance for Breast Cancer will take place on Sunday, September 29th. There will be concurrent Walks and Fun Runs in Ashburn and Middleburg. Please take part in this worthwhile cause and help those in our communities who are fighting breast cancer.
