Season’s Greetings
Even though the year is winding down, there is a lot of activity around the Bank these days. We continue to be active in our communities and in helping our clients achieve their goals.
Richmond Expansion
I'm excited to report that we will be opening our second Financial Service Center in Richmond later this month. When this new office opens at 315 Libbie Avenue (near the intersection of Libbie and Grove), our Richmond clients will have a convenient location where they can manage all of their financial needs.
If you are in Richmond and find yourself near Libbie and Grove, please stop in and say hello. We'd love to show you around our new home and talk about how we can help you reach your financial goals.
Holiday Gift Giving
All reports from Black Friday and Cyber Monday indicate that this is shaping up to be a good year for holiday gift-giving. While this is positive news for retailers, it also means that many people will be running up big credit card bills because they have not set aside money during the year to pay for these holiday purchases.
At Middleburg Bank, we have two great ways to help you build a nest egg for next year's holiday shopping:
- Round Up Savings is a quick and easy way to save. When you enroll in this free service, every debit card purchase posted to your Middleburg Bank checking account is rounded up to the nearest whole dollar and the difference is transferred into your savings account. This money can add up fast, and provide the extra cash you need to buy holiday gifts next year. Click here to find out more about Round Up Savings.
- Club Accounts are a great way to save for a specific purpose, like holiday gifts. With a Club Account, you make regular deposits into the account throughout the year and the funds are paid out to you in October. That way, you have cash in hand when you are ready to start your holiday shopping.
I hope each of you has a great December and a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. As we close out this year and hurry towards the next, I encourage you to take a moment or two to reflect upon the many blessings we have in our lives.
As always, if you have a suggestion that would make your banking experience with Middleburg Bank even better, please send me an email at newsletter@middleburgbank.com.
